All district education officials have received an urgent reminder from the Arunachal Pradesh Education Department to relieve all transferred teachers and take up their new positions right away. Amjad Tak, the commissioner of education, stressed in an order on Saturday that instructors who have been transferred must be relieved of their existing duties and report to their new site “without fail.” A “district-wise compliance report” detailing the names and present positions of the transferred teachers, the date that they were freed from their previous schools, and the date that they started working at their new schools must be submitted by Monday, according to the commissioner’s directive to the district department officials.

The official threatened to take severe measures against noncompliant officers or districts under the applicable service regulations in the directive. As part of its continuous efforts to efficiently manage and simplify the state’s educational staff, the state administration announced the transfer and posting of 203 teachers around the state on July 20 of this year. However, a lot of instructors are reluctant to leave their current postings, and some of them claim joint posting of spouses and medical certifications as justifications.
