In a proud moment for Arunachal Pradesh, four young Ju-Jitsu athletes from the state have been selected to represent India at the upcoming 3rd South Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship 2026. The international event is scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka from April 10 to 12.
The athletes, along with their team official, left Itanagar on Thursday to begin their journey. They will first travel to New Delhi before heading to the host country for the championship.According to a statement issued by the Arunachal Ju-Jitsu Association, the selected athletes are Byabang Bhupal, Dongda Taduk, Langkung Adam, and Langkung Duta. They will be accompanied by team official Nich Tell.
The athletes have been selected by the Ju-Jitsu Association of India based on their performance and preparation for the international event.This selection is seen as a significant opportunity for the athletes to showcase their talent on a larger stage.
