In a significant operation, enforcement officials in Longding District intercepted a Fortuner vehicle at the Kanubari Checkpost, leading to the seizure of a staggering Rs 1 crore in cash.
The apprehension, hailed as a major breakthrough in combating illegal activities, was the result of a joint effort by the Forward Surveillance Team (FST), the Special Surveillance Team (SST), and the local police force. The cash, concealed within the vehicle bearing registration number As 01ET 5252, was attributed to Mr. Harshvardhan Singh.
Praising the swift and efficient handling of the situation, authorities commended the teamwork and coordination among the team members involved. Leaders of the FST/SST teams, Er T. Chada and Er T. Peri, along with officers T. Nira and SI T. Pema of the Kanubari Police Station, were lauded for their dedication and diligence in executing the operation.
