Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Arunachal Pradesh, led by State General Secretaries Tadar Niglar and Nalong Mize, participated in a candlelight march organized by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) to pay tribute to the victims of the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22. The march, held in honor of the 27 innocent lives lost in the Pakistan-sponsored attack, included the martyrdom of Indian Air Force Corporal Tage Hailyang, a proud son of Arunachal Pradesh.
The BJP expressed deep sorrow, condemning the attack as a ruthless act of terror. “This act of terror is a grim reminder of the ongoing threat posed by cross-border terrorism,” the party stated, further emphasizing its unwavering support for the bereaved families. “We stand in solidarity with the families of the victims and with all those who defend our nation.”
The march was attended by a wide range of participants, including State Office Bearers, Karyakartas from various morchas, representatives from the Capital Region, Papum Pare District, IMC Cooperators, and numerous concerned citizens. The event symbolized a collective mourning and protest against the scourge of terrorism.
