The Chief Justice of India, BR Gavai, is scheduled to inaugurate the new structure of the Gauhati High Court’s Itanagar Permanent Bench in Arunachal Pradesh on 10 August.
This modern building, which has a budget of Rs 135.35 crore, will accommodate five courtrooms along with various other facilities.
The project, carried out by the Public Works Department in collaboration with M/s Ganapati Construction Company, commenced in February 2021.
Currently, the Itanagar Permanent Bench is operating from Yupia, with court sessions set to begin on 11 August.
Additionally, the bar association will commemorate 25 years since the establishment of the Itanagar Permanent Bench on 12 August.
