The National Disaster Response Force issued an advisory following an earthquake in Delhi, urging people not to panic, to run outside, and to take stairs. Delhi’s location in Seismic Zone 4 increases the risk of earthquakes, as it is near active fault lines. Since 1720, the city has experienced at least five earthquakes above 5.5 magnitude on the Richter scale.
