New Delhi, Guar gum prices rose by Rs 84 to Rs 9,691 per quintal in futures trade on Thursday as speculators increased their deal size amid strong spot demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the price of guar gum contract for August delivery rose by Rs 84, or 0.87 per cent, to Rs 9,691 per quintal in a business turnover of 29,185 lots.
Analysts said that in view of the strong spot market trend, traders increased their deal size, leading to a rise in guar gum prices.
