For thousands of manufacturers, designers and skilled workers shaping India’s woodworking and furniture industry, INDIAWOOD 2026 is more than a trade fair—it is a reflection of how far the sector has come and where it is headed. Scheduled from February 26 to March 2 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru, the 26th edition is set to be the largest in the event’s history.

Organised by NürnbergMesse India with support from EUMABOIS, the exhibition will host over 1,000 brands from more than 50 countries, welcome over 90,000 industry professionals and span 85,000 square metres marking 15 per cent growth over the previous edition. The scale highlights growing global confidence in India’s manufacturing capabilities, aligned with the Viksit Bharat vision.

Sonia Prashar, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse India, said the event mirrors the industry’s maturity and global ambition, driven by technology, sustainability and skill development.

For Indian manufacturers, momentum is also building from the advancing India–EU Free Trade Agreement, described by policymakers as the “mother of all deals”. The pact is expected to ease tariffs, boost exports of engineered wood products and enable smoother inflows of advanced machinery.

Beyond numbers, INDIAWOOD 2026 will showcase automation, smart manufacturing, sustainable materials and skill initiatives, alongside Wood+ in Architecture & Design and the co-located India Mattresstech & Upholstery Supplies Expo—bringing people, ideas and opportunity together across the value chain.
