The Arunachal Pradesh skill development and entrepreneurship (SDE) department has started a five-day “Institute-to-Industry Connect Orientation Program” at Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd (TKM) in Bengaluru as part of a significant effort to match technical education with industry demands. The program, which started on Monday, aims to give faculty members at the industry Training Institute (ITI) practical experience with real-world industry procedures. The 15-member delegation, which is led by SDE Director Sibo Passing, consists of eight instructors from throughout the state, one group instructor, and six ITI principals.

By immersing educators in real-world shop-floor settings, the project seeks to close the gap between classroom instruction and industry expectations.
It is anticipated that the initiative will improve the way the curriculum is delivered, empower teachers to provide better career counseling, and incorporate cutting-edge technologies into training materials. The ultimate goal of this practical experience is to enhance project-based learning and prepare ITI trainees for the workforce.
