A fire erupted in the annex building of a government upper primary school located in Lipu Bagra village, within the West Siang district. This incident, which impacted the nursery and classes I and II, remains enigmatic as there were no eyewitnesses or notifications made to the fire station. A case has been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, and an investigation is currently in progress. Aalo West MLA Topin Ete has condemned the occurrence and has urged for prompt relief measures as well as stringent action against those responsible.
