
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared significant accomplishments under the “PEMA 3.0-Year of Reforms & Growth” plan, which emphasizes inclusive and sustainable development throughout the state, and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to creating an independent and empowered rural Arunachal. According to a social media post by the chief minister, the government’s efforts are focused on making sure that every home benefits from welfare programs and that rural areas become the engine of the state’s development. “Improving lives in Arunachal Pradesh by promoting sustainable and inclusive growth!” In an X post, Khandu stated.
The chief minister highlighted noteworthy accomplishments in a number of flagship programs, such as the Deendayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, which placed 1,635 people in jobs, and the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, which supported 1,35,754 households under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission. In order to provide shelter and dignity for thousands of rural people, Khandu also reported that 85,000 households had received assistance under the Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana and that 35,591 houses had been constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin.
Additionally, 7,527 beneficiaries have benefited from the Prime Minister Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi), and 736 businesses have benefited from the Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Program. “Our efforts are directed towards ensuring that progress begins at the grassroots and reaches every household in Arunachal Pradesh,” Khandu remarked, restating his administration’s emphasis on bottom-up development.
