Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Arunachal Pradesh to inaugurate infrastructure projects valued at about Rs 5,000 crore. According to officials, the prime minister will land at Hollongi’s Donyi Polo Airport at around nine in the morning. From there, he will take a helicopter to Itanagar’s Raj Bhavan. After that, he will go to Indira Gandhi Park to speak at a rally and announce the development projects. The Heo and Tato-I hydropower projects, which will be built on the Yarjep River in the Shi Yomi area, will both have their foundation stones laid by Modi.

The North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) and the Arunachal Pradesh government would work together to create the 186 MW Tato-I project, which will cost Rs 1,750 crore. An estimated 802 million units of electricity will be produced there each year. At a cost of Rs 1,939 crore, the state government and NEEPCO would also create the 240-MW Heo project. An annual production of 1,000 million units of electricity is anticipated. Additionally, Modi will open a conference center in Tawang that was constructed for Rs 145.37 crore under the PM-DevINE initiative.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch infrastructure projects worth over Rs 1,290 crore in Arunachal, India, to support tourism and cultural potential. The projects aim to improve connectivity, health, and fire safety, catalyze economic activity, and enhance connectivity. The event will be attended by Governor KT Parnaik, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao, and Rajya Sabha MP Nabam Rebia. Security has been strengthened in the city.
