Prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s planned visit to Itanagar on September 22, 2025, the Arunachal Pradesh administration has sent out a comprehensive advisory to all government employees. During the program at IG Park, officials have been requested by the Department of Protocol to adhere to strict decorum and completely cooperate with security procedures. The advise states that government workers attending the event are expected to wear formal or traditional clothing and to bring legitimate identity for easy verification by security guards, like driver’s licenses, voter cards, or Aadhaar cards.

Additionally, officials have been told not to carry any forbidden objects that could pose a security risk, such as knives, machetes, blades, or lighters, and to avoid obstructing or interfering with official motorcades. It has been strongly forbidden to use mobile phones and other electronic devices in ways that can be interpreted as posing a security risk. The memo also advised government employees to closely adhere to security personnel and ushers’ instructions during the event and warned them against circumventing established communication procedures. In order to guarantee that the Prime Minister’s visit goes successfully, State Protocol Officer Komkar Dulom’s counsel emphasized the value of cooperation and discipline.
