Attending the first-ever Regional NeVolution Education Workshop, Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein emphasized the value of enhancing basic literacy and numeracy skills to give every child access to high-quality education and opportunities for a better future. The Aspirational Block Program hosted the event in Itanagar with the title “Regional Workshop on Improving Education KPIs in Aspirational Districts & Blocks” for Northeastern states, including Jammu & Kashmir and Jharkhand. The event’s main guest was the deputy chief minister of Arunachal.

With Rs 150 crores set aside for the building of 30 Government Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools around the state, the Indian government has also provided the state with substantial help. About Rs 600 crores have been allocated for various educational interventions under the Samagra Shiksha project, and another Rs 150 crores would be needed to finish Golden Jubilee Schools in 2024–2025. Dr. Arvind Virmani, an esteemed visitor and member of NITI Aayog, highlighted how digital connectivity is transforming education, especially in remote regions like Arunachal Pradesh.
