A delegation from the Directorate Service Officers’ Association of Arunachal (DSOAA) has approached Chief Secretary Manish Gupta to express their opposition to the government’s decision to expand director positions within the APCS cadre. The DSOAA, under the leadership of Yumlam Kaha and Wangton Lowang, contended that this action would violate principles of natural justice and fairness for the departmental officers. They emphasized that numerous officers have been appointed by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission and are currently eligible for promotion to joint directors and directors within their respective departments.
