Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein of Arunachal Pradesh has emphasized that creating a “Shashakt” and “Viksit Arunachal” requires equipping the youth with information, opportunities, and a clear vision. The deputy chief minister emphasized the government’s steadfast dedication to raising a talented, self-assured, and intellectually active youth during his remarks at the zonal final of the second edition of the “Battle of Minds” quiz competition here on Saturday night. With 343 school teams participating enthusiastically, up from just 53 in the inaugural edition, the event, which was organized by the state Youth Affairs department, demonstrated the growing competitive spirit and intellectual interest of kids.

Mein praised the department for creating such a powerful platform, stating that the program aims to foster academic success, leadership, and teamwork in addition to quizzing. The four rounds of the quiz—general knowledge, know your region, audio-visual, and rapid fire—were each intended to assess depth of knowledge, critical thinking, and presence of mind. The deputy chief minister congratulated the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) team from Chimpu, which is close by, for winning the zonal final.
