New Delhi, June 19: Aluminium prices fell by 35 paise to Rs 247 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as participants cut their positions following a weak trend in the spot market.
Aluminium contracts for July delivery fell by 35 paise, or 0.14 percent, to Rs 247 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange in a business of 2,471 lots.
Analysts said aluminium prices fell mainly due to participants cutting their positions due to sluggish demand from consumer industries.
