Under the subject “Viksit Bharat – Young Leader Dialogue,” the state youth festival was successfully conducted, bringing together gifted and passionate young from different districts of Arunachal Pradesh to highlight creative ideas and cultural diversity. Under the cultural and innovation track, the state Youth Affairs Department and the state chapter of MY Bharat collaborated to organize the event. Gopesh Pandey, Deputy Director of MY Bharat, described the festival’s goals and emphasized the vital role that young people have in the development of the country.

The chief guest, honored guest, and jury members were formally congratulated by State Youth Affairs Director Ramesh Linggi. Kame Yangfo and Gumsen Lollen, State President of the BJP Kisan Morcha, graced the occasion. There were two main categories for the competitions. The state’s rich and varied cultural legacy was reflected in the folk song and folk dance competitions on the cultural track. Declamation competitions, painting contests, poetry and story writing competitions, and a scientific mela were all arranged under the innovation track. Young people from all districts enthusiastically participated, showcasing their talent, inventiveness, and ingenuity.

Speaking to the crowd, Lollen praised the performers and expressed gratitude to MY Bharat and the Youth Affairs Department for organizing the festival so well. He emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047 and stressed the critical role that young people play in achieving this national objective. The state youth festival champions will represent Arunachal Pradesh at the National Youth Festival and the Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue 2026, which will take place in Delhi on National Youth Day, it was announced at the end of the program.
