
NBFC company Bajaj Finserv reported a 30.4% rise in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, at ₹2,789 crore as against ₹2,138 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company’s operating revenue in Q1 FY26 stood at ₹35,439 crore year-on-year (YoY) as against ₹31,480 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, registering a growth of 12.5%.
The NBFC company said it continues to focus on the growth of its emerging businesses, which include Bajaj Finserv Health, Bajaj Finserv Direct, Bajaj Finserv Asset Management and Bajaj Finserv Ventures. Losses from these businesses stood at ₹142 crore in Q1 FY26.
Following the earnings data, shares of Bajaj Finserv were seen trading 3.32% lower at ₹1,964.90 per share on the NSE.
Finance & Insurance Business Updates
Bajaj Finance (BFL) booked 46.9 lakh customer franchise and 134.9 lakh new loans in Q1 FY26. Its quarterly consolidated post-tax profit grew 20%, while its subsidiary Bajaj Housing Finance reported a 21% rise in post-tax profit.
The company’s gross non-performing assets (NPAs) and net NPAs stood at 1.03% and 0.50%, respectively, at the end of the quarter, compared to 0.86% and 0.38%, respectively, in Q1 FY25.
Assets under management (AUM) at the end of the quarter stood at ₹441,450 crore, as against ₹354,192 crore in Q1 FY25—a growth of 25%.
Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited (BAGIC) reported a 9% growth in gross written premium to ₹5,202 crore; excluding the impact of accounting changes for heavily tender-based crops, government health and long-term products, business growth was robust at 15%. Its profit after tax grew 15%.
Its net earned premium stood at ₹2,229 crore in Q1 FY26, as against ₹2,232 crore in Q1 FY25.
Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance (BALIC) reported a 39% growth in value of new business due to product restructuring, favourable product mix and cost rationalisation.
New business premium was recorded at ₹2,316 crore in Q1 FY26 as against ₹2,541 crore in Q1 FY25.
Assets under management (AUM) based on total investments grew to ₹131,052 crore as on June 30, 2025, as against ₹116,966 crore as on June 30, 2024—a growth of 12%.
Meanwhile, Bajaj Finserv Asset Management recorded assets under management (AUM) of ₹25,011 crore at the end of Q1 FY26.
