New Delhi, Copper futures on Friday rose 0.53 percent to Rs 923 per kg on increased spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery rose by Rs 4.90, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 923 per kg in a business turnover of 2,303 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
