Dec 26: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted dense fog, light rain and falling temperatures in different parts of the Northeast over the next five days.
“Very Dense fog very likey to occur at isolated pockets over Assam and Meghalaya, and Dense fog very likey to occur at
isolated pockets over Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on Saturday,” the latest IMD forecast stated.
It further said that light rain is very likely to occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, while dry weather is likely to prevail over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
No large change in minimum temperature with falling tendency very likey over the region, it added. (EOM)
