Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (retired) KT Parnaik launched the Business Transformation Programme for Micro and Small Entrepreneurs in Itanagar. He urged entrepreneurs to focus on creating productive assets that boost the State’s development, especially in sectors like tourism, waste management, and local language preservation. The Governor encouraged participants to leverage the workshop for sustainable enterprise growth, emphasizing the importance of skills in business planning, financial management, and modern technologies. He commended the organizations involved in the initiative and welcomed plans to establish a Multi Skill Training Institute in the State. He highlighted the critical role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the economy, noting their contribution to GDP and employment, and pointed out the growing innovation and startup ecosystem in Arunachal Pradesh, with an emphasis on women-led initiatives.
