New Delhi, June 18: Guarseed prices rose by Rs 26 to Rs 5,083 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday as speculators increased the size of their deals amid a strong trend in the spot market.
Guarseed contract for July delivery rose by Rs 26, or 0.51 per cent, to Rs 5,083 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, with open interest trading in 51,990 lots.
According to market sources, guarseed prices rose mainly due to speculators increasing their deals, strong trend in the spot market and lower supplies from producing regions.
