iQOO has launched its latest truly wireless earbuds, the iQOO TWS 5e, in China. The new earbuds were introduced alongside the iQOO Neo 11 Ultra and iQOO Z11S, expanding the company’s growing audio product portfolio.
The iQOO TWS 5e features 11mm high-resolution drivers and comes with 35dB active noise cancellation. The earbuds are also designed with gaming in mind, offering a claimed 42ms latency and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
For audio playback, the TWS 5e supports AAC, SBC and LC3 codecs. It also comes with Monster Sound gaming audio and DeepX 3.0 stereo sound. Users can choose between multiple sound profiles, including treble-, bass- and vocal-focused modes. Spatial audio support is also available for compatible content, offering a broader three-dimensional sound experience.
The earbuds support dual-device connectivity, allowing users to connect them to two devices simultaneously. Touch controls are available for managing music playback and calls, while wear detection adds another layer of convenience.
The 35dB ANC system is supported by AI-powered call noise reduction and wind noise suppression. These features are designed to reduce unwanted background sounds and improve call quality.
iQOO has also included several smart features with the TWS 5e. These include remote camera control, caller ID announcements, real-time translation and an earbud-finding feature. The company has also confirmed that the earbuds will receive software updates.
Battery life is another highlight. The earbuds offer up to 11.5 hours of playback on a single charge, while the charging case extends the total playback time to up to 50 hours with ANC switched off. The case charges through a USB Type-C port.
The iQOO TWS 5e carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water. It is available in Electric White and Sharp Yellow colour options.
The new earbuds are priced at CNY 149 in China, which is approximately Rs 1,800. iQOO has not yet announced an India launch date for the TWS 5e.
