The Jawa 42 All Stars has been launched in India with prices starting at ₹1.80 lakh, ex-showroom. According to the brand, the updated motorcycle comes with more than 60 changes, including revised styling, new alloy wheels, an upswept twin-exhaust system, a wider rear tyre and several other updates.
The Jawa 42 All Stars gets a number of enhancements to its styling and overall stance. The most noticeable changes have been made to the rear section of the motorcycle. It now features a wider rear fender, a compact upswept twin-exhaust system, redesigned side panels, new alloy wheels and a wider 150/70-17 rear tyre. The motorcycle continues to retain some of its familiar design elements, including a 13.2-litre fuel tank and a round headlight. The seat has also been updated with improved cushioning, while retaining its flat, bench-style profile.
The company has also made changes to the swingarm stiffness, handling, ergonomics and overall comfort of the Jawa 42. According to the brand, these updates have been introduced to make the motorcycle more agile and provide better control while riding. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both the front and rear, along with a dual-channel ABS system. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and gas-filled twin shock absorbers at the rear.
The motorcycle continues to be powered by the same 294.72cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke DOHC engine, paired with a 6-speed constant-mesh gearbox. The engine produces a peak power output of 27.19 hp and maximum torque of 26.3 Nm. Other specifications include a single-pod fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, a single-piece seat, a 100/90-18 front tyre and a 150/70-17 rear tyre. The motorcycle also comes with a 13.2-litre fuel tank.
