The Cabinet’s approval of the Arunachal Pradesh Transfer and Posting of Employees of Education Department (Regulation & Management) Bill, 2026 aims to transition to a transparent, technology-driven teacher transfer system linked to a Teachers’ Registry Portal. Additionally, recruitment rules for physical education appointments were endorsed to ensure systematic hiring in government schools. In the context of higher education, professorships were authorized under the Career Advancement Scheme according to UGC Regulations, 2018, alongside modifications to principal recruitment rules to reflect updated norms. Furthermore, the Cabinet launched the Pakke Declaration Implementation Report-2025, assessing the progress of 410 action lines across 75 climate-resilient strategies, with 246 completed, 70 ongoing, and 94 in the initial stages.
