Maruti Suzuki India announced on Monday that its total sales for November rose 26% year-on-year to 2,29,021 units, compared with 1,81,531 units in the same month last year. The company reported that domestic passenger vehicle wholesales increased 21% to 1,70,971 units, up from 1,41,312 units a year earlier.

In the mini car segment, which includes the Alto and S-Presso, sales grew to 12,347 units from 9,750 units in November 2024. The compact car lineup—Baleno, Dzire, Ignis, and Swift—also saw improved demand, with sales rising to 72,926 units compared to 61,373 units previously.

Utility vehicles such as the Grand Vitara, Brezza, Ertiga, and XL6 recorded sales of 72,498 units, up from 59,003 units last year. Eeco sales reached 13,200 units, an increase from 10,589 units, while the Super Carry light commercial vehicle reported sales of 3,622 units, compared with 2,926 units a year ago.

The automaker also posted strong export performance, shipping 46,057 units in November, significantly higher than the 28,633 units exported in the same month last year.
