Maruti Suzuki recently launched the Victoris, a new mid-size SUV, which has quickly gained popularity in India. Available through Arena dealerships, the Victoris competes with popular models like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Since its launch at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹10.50 lakh, the SUV has received over 25,000 bookings within just two weeks. Due to high demand, the waiting period for delivery can be up to 10 weeks, although this varies based on the chosen variant, color, and location. The Victoris comes in six variants, offers 10 color options, and features three engine choices along with three transmission types. Maruti Suzuki already has a strong presence in the utility vehicle segment with models like the Fronx, Brezza, and Grand Vitara, and the Victoris aims to strengthen this position further. Supported by lower GST rates and attractive festive season offers, the SUV is expected to achieve strong sales, boosting Maruti Suzuki’s overall market performance during this period.
