Motorola is expanding its tablet portfolio in India with the official debut of the Moto Pad 70 Groove on July 31. Confirmed via a dedicated Flipkart teaser page, the upcoming slate heavily focuses on portable entertainment, pairing a unique multi-speaker setup with premium display specs.
The standout highlight of the Moto Pad 70 Groove is its nine-speaker JBL audio system—a first for the Indian tablet market. The configuration includes four tweeters, three woofers, and two passive radiators, delivering a combined 48W stereo output with Dolby Atmos tuning and Hi-Res Audio certification. To complement the heavy audio setup, the tablet features an integrated circular kickstand on its rear panel for hands-free viewing across multiple angles and can double as a standalone Bluetooth speaker.
Up front, the tablet boasts a 12.1-inch 2.5K screen equipped with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, Dolby Vision support, and up to 800 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, a large 10,200mAh battery powers the device, rated for up to 15 hours of continuous video playback, accompanied by a 68W fast charger in the box. Official pricing, chipset details, and exact configuration variants will be unveiled during the official launch later this month.
