Nissan Motor India has launched the all-new GRAVITE MPV at an introductory price of ₹5.65 lakh (ex-showroom), marking the first product under its renewed product offensive and aligning with broader industrial and localisation goals in India’s automobile sector. Manufactured at Nissan’s Chennai facility, the seven-seater MPV reflects the company’s “Made in India, Made for India” strategy aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing capacity and expanding participation in the high-volume affordable mobility segment.

Designed for modern Indian families, the GRAVITE offers flexible seating configurations from two to seven occupants, luggage capacity of up to 625 litres, and more than 30 standard safety features including six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill-Start Assist and Brake Assist. The vehicle incorporates Nissan’s signature ‘C’ design language, LED lighting systems, modular interiors, wireless smartphone connectivity, digital instrument cluster and wireless charging. Powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine paired with manual and AMT transmission options, the MPV delivers fuel efficiency of up to 19.6 km/l and is available in five colour options along with a limited launch edition offering enhanced comfort features.

Nissan said ongoing dealer network expansion across Tier-I and Tier-II cities, along with upcoming SUV launches in 2026 and 2027, reflects its long-term investment roadmap and commitment to sustained growth in India’s competitive automotive market.
