Nissan Motor India has launched a segment-first 10-Year Extended Warranty Plan for its New Nissan Magnite, enhancing its position in the competitive B-SUV segment. The plan, available only for vehicles with a 3-year standard warranty, covers up to 10 years or 2 lakh kilometres at an affordable 22 paise/km or INR 12/day.
Buyers can choose flexible coverage options such as 3+7, 3+4, 3+3, 3+2, and 3+1 years. Comprehensive coverage is offered for seven years, with engine and transmission protection in the final three years. The plan supports unlimited cashless repairs at authorised Nissan service centres and can be financed via Nissan Finance, ensuring convenience at purchase.
The market’s growing urban and semi-urban customer base, coupled with increasing preference for 5-star safety-rated vehicles, could see the Magnite attract both first-time SUV buyers and existing car owners looking to upgrade. Nissan MD Saurabh Vatsa said the initiative reflects the company’s focus on quality, reliability, and customer peace of mind, allowing buyers to “focus on memorable journeys” while Nissan ensures lasting performance.
