If you’re considering buying a daily-use smartwatch that efficiently monitors health stats, fitness activities, sleep, and more, Samsung might have the ideal option for you. Recently, the brand launched its latest flagship wearable, the Galaxy Watch 8, in India. It features a refreshed design, Galaxy AI capabilities, and upgraded health-tracking tools. Priced at ₹32,999, the smartwatch created significant buzz during its debut. After using it for a few weeks, here’s my take on whether it lives up to the hype.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Review: Display
The Galaxy Watch 8 boasts a large 1.47-inch Super AMOLED display with an impressive 3000 nits peak brightness. The enhanced screen makes navigating menus, notifications, and controls much easier. The vivid colours and high brightness make it usable even in direct sunlight, improving everyday functionality.

Verdict
With a sleek design, durable build, accurate fitness tracking, and user-friendly interface, the Galaxy Watch 8 ticks most boxes. While I appreciated its performance, I did miss the rotating bezel, now exclusive to the Watch 8 Classic. A smaller variant would also be welcome, but overall, it’s a great pick for Samsung ecosystem users.
