New Delhi, June 17: Silver prices rose by Rs 306 to Rs 1,06,870 per kg in futures trade on Tuesday as participants increased their bets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for July delivery rose by Rs 306, or 0.29 percent, to Rs 1,06,870 per kg in a business turnover of 16,885 lots.
Analysts said fresh deals by participants led to a jump in silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.33 percent higher at $36.43 per ounce in New York.
