A daylong workshop on Pradhan Mantri Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (PM NAPS) was conducted at the Dorjee Khandu Government College (DKG) Tawang, on Thursday. Tawang Deputy Commissioner Namgyal Angmo inaugurated the workshop that served as an informative and engaging platform for students and stakeholders, encouraging youth participation in skill development and employment-oriented training. The programmer was organized by the District Skill Committee in collaboration with DKG College Tawang, with the objective of creating awareness on apprenticeship opportunities and skill development initiatives. Deputy Director, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Gyati Kacho, representatives from from 2Coms Consulting Pvt. Ltd., Eduvantage Pvt. Ltd, Yuva Shakti, Timilo Boutique, Vivanta Tawang besides ITI students and students of DKG College Tawang took part in the workshop. The event featured insightful presentations on PM NAPS, SAPS, and the various benefits and career opportunities available through apprenticeship programmes.
