New Delhi: Zinc prices on Monday rose by Rs 1.95 to Rs 273.25 per kg in futures trade amid a rise in spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of zinc contract for September delivery rose by Rs 1.95, or 0.72 per cent, to Rs 273.25 per kg in a business turnover of 3,446 lots.
Zinc prices rose in futures trade as participants increased their deal sizes following a rise in demand from consumer industries, market sources said.
