The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is gearing up for its China launch on August 18, with the company gradually confirming key details about the upcoming smartphone. The device will be introduced alongside the iQOO Z11S, and sales are expected to begin on the same day. Pre-orders for the Neo 11 Ultra are already open through iQOO’s website.The display is expected to be one of the biggest highlights of the smartphone. iQOO has confirmed that the Neo 11 Ultra will feature a flat 2K-resolution display based on F2 luminescent material. The company claims it will be the world’s first smartphone to use this display technology.The panel is said to reach up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness across the full screen. It will also offer a 98 percent first-frame brightness ratio, which should help improve screen visibility in bright outdoor conditions.iQOO is also highlighting the phone’s eye-care capabilities. The display is claimed to emit less than 5 percent harmful blue light and will feature the company’s new circular polarised light 2.0 technology. iQOO says this system is designed to deliver more natural light and provide better protection for the eyes. The screen can reportedly lower its brightness to just 1 nit.Another claimed advantage is improved power efficiency. According to iQOO, the new display is 24 percent more efficient than the panels used on its previous smartphones.The Neo 11 Ultra will also feature a distinctive design, with iQOO showcasing a 3D flowing light effect on the rear. The phone is said to measure 9.13mm in thickness and will feature rounded R-corners along with a matte-finish metal frame.Meanwhile, an earlier China Telecom listing has hinted at additional specifications that have not yet been officially confirmed. The smartphone could come with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, with the expected variants starting at 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.The device is also tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500M chipset and could feature a 6.83-inch display. iQOO has confirmed that the phone will launch in China on August 18 at 7pm local time, or 4:30pm IST.The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is expected to arrive in Light White, Shadow Black and Wind Chaser colour options. The smartphone will also pack a large 9,100mAh battery, making battery capacity another key highlight of the upcoming Neo series device.
