Vivo is reportedly preparing to reintroduce its mid-range S series in India after a seven-year hiatus with the upcoming launch of the Vivo S2. Ahead of any official announcement from Vivo India, leaked dummy units and promotional details have surfaced online, offering a detailed look at the smartphone’s design and hardware profile. The images showcase the handset in Black and Rose Gold color options, featuring a polycarbonate frame, a curved 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a centrally placed hole-punch selfie cutout. On the rear, the phone sports a horizontal pill-shaped camera module housing a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an LED aura light ring. Industry leaks suggest the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Expected to launch in early August with a price tag under ₹30,000, the Vivo S2 aims to strengthen the brand’s presence in the competitive mid-tier smartphone segment.
