POCO has expanded its M-series smartphone portfolio in India with the official launch of the POCO M8 Power. Targeting heavy media consumers and binge-watchers, the mid-range handset’s standout feature is an industry-leading 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery paired with Xiaomi’s Surge G1 management chip, delivering up to three days of battery life on a single charge. The device supports 45W wired fast charging with an adapter included in the box, as well as 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing it to function as a power bank for other accessories.

Despite housing a massive battery, the smartphone maintains an ergonomic design protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance. Up front, the POCO M8 Power features a 6.9-inch FHD+ Flow AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,800 nits peak brightness, and an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, it runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, backed by a commitment of four years of major OS upgrades and six years of security patches. For optics, it houses a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Starting at ₹24,999 before launch discounts and bank offers, the POCO M8 Power will be available in Blaze Orange, Green, and Black across retail platforms.
