Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has congratulated Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on completing 10 years in office, describing his tenure as a period of significant development and progress for the state. Rijiju conveyed his greetings during a meeting with the Chief Minister at Parliament House in New Delhi.
Praising Khandu’s leadership, the Union Minister said Arunachal Pradesh has achieved notable milestones in infrastructure development, social welfare, and governance reforms over the past decade. He commended the state government’s efforts to improve public services and strengthen overall development under Khandu’s leadership.
Expressing his gratitude, Chief Minister Pema Khandu thanked Kiren Rijiju for his continued support and guidance. He attributed the state’s progress to the vision and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said Arunachal Pradesh has witnessed remarkable transformation across multiple sectors, including infrastructure, connectivity, education, healthcare, and governance.
Khandu reaffirmed his government’s commitment to accelerating the state’s development and ensuring inclusive growth for all sections of society. He said the administration would continue to focus on strengthening infrastructure, improving public welfare, and creating new opportunities for economic growth.
Pema Khandu assumed office as the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh on July 17, 2016. As he completes a decade in the state’s highest executive office, the occasion marks a significant milestone in Arunachal Pradesh’s political and developmental journey, reflecting the government’s continued emphasis on sustainable and inclusive progress.
