Monyul Football Club were crowned champions of the the Arunachal Women’s League – 2026 at the Golden Jubilee Outdoor Stadium in Yupia on Thursday.
Monyul FC remained unbeaten, winning all their 4 matches and topping the points table with 12 points in the championship.
Kurung Kumey District Football Association (DFA) finished second and secured the Runner Up position.
Yumlam Lali of Kurung Kumey DFA bagged the ‘Player of the League’ award for her outstanding performance during the championship.
Puja Pachi of Monyul FC secured the ‘Top Scorer’ award. She scored a total of 15 goals.
Yameh Tapen also from Monyul FC was awarded the ‘Best Goalkeeper’ for her fine performance under the sticks.
The awards ceremony was attended by Kipa Ajay, Treasurer, All India Football Federation (AIFF) and president, Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA) and other executive members of APFA.
