Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has officially made its debut in India as the latest addition to the company’s Fan Edition series. The smartphone brings a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset and a 4,900mAh battery. The device also features a triple rear camera setup with a dedicated telephoto lens.
The 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits of brightness. The phone is powered by the 3nm-based Exynos 2500 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
Samsung has shipped the Galaxy S26 FE with One UI 9 based on Android 17. The company has promised seven years of software and security updates. The smartphone also becomes the Galaxy S26 series model to launch with Samsung’s latest software version.
The camera department includes a 50-megapixel primary wide camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field of view and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom. The front camera has a 12-megapixel sensor. Samsung has also included Gemini Omni, which enables users to create and edit video clips using content saved in the Gallery.
The Galaxy S26 FE supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.4. It is a dual-SIM smartphone with nano-SIM support.
The 4,900mAh battery supports 45W wired charging. Samsung says the phone can charge up to 69 per cent in about 30 minutes when connected to a 45W adapter. There is also 15W wireless charging support, along with Wireless PowerShare for charging compatible devices.
The handset measures 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm and weighs 193 grams. An IP68 rating provides protection against dust and water.
Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 FE in India with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at Rs. 79,999. The smartphone is available in Pistachio, Blueberry and Graphite colours.
Launch benefits include an exchange upgrade bonus of up to Rs. 8,000, while select NBFC partners are offering up to 30 months of no-cost EMI along with an additional Rs. 3,000 upgrade bonus. Customers can also get up to Rs. 7,000 cashback on major bank cards or choose a 12-month no-cost bank EMI. Samsung’s e-store additionally offers an 18-month bank EMI option.
