A 13-year-old boy had to face premature death after falling off a moving school bus. This heart-wrenching accident occurred on Saturday evening near Darka in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. According to available information, Nyairi Kame from Lungte village in Si-yomi district died as a result of trying to get off before the bus had come to a complete stop. Some have alleged that this tragic accident occurred due to the driver’s negligence. 

According to Lakshi Menai, the Officer-in-Charge of Ali Police Station, a school bus was bringing some students from Pasighat in East Siang district. The deceased, Nyairi Kame, was returning home after participating in a youth camp organized by the church at the busyard in Leparda district. During the journey, the boy suddenly felt nauseous and requested the driver to stop the bus. However, before the bus could stop, he carelessly tried to get off and immediately fell onto the road. The death of the severely injured teenage girl has now cast a deep atmosphere of mourning across the entire region. This unfortunate incident has also sparked a strong reaction regarding the safety measures of school buses. Meanwhile, the Ali police have registered a case based on a complaint and have begun investigating the entire incident. The untimely death of a promising student has now stunned the residents of West Chiang District.
