The two-day job fair under Mission Youth “The Platform” with this year’s theme: Innovation, Skilling and Empowering with Artificial Intelligence (AI), got underway at the State Banquet Hall in Itanagar on Friday.
“The Platform” is a youth-centric initiative conceptualised by the Arunachal Photography Club (APC) with the support of the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, under Mission Youth.
The initiative seeks to build a meaningful bridge between the government and the youth of Arunachal Pradesh by creating a space where young people can access information, guidance and opportunities related to entrepreneurship, innovation, skill development and self-employment.
The event will feature hands-on workshops, technical sessions, skill development training and motivational interactions with experts from diverse fields.
Earlier, Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Mama Natung and Doimukh MLA Nabam Vivek inaugurated the event as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Hundreds of students from Rajiv Gandhi Polytechnic, Don Bosco College, other technical institutions and young entrepreneurs attended the inaugural session.
The first technical session of the day one began with the deliverance by David Lalrochhuanga, PhD scholar from Northeastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), on Artificial Intelligence and innovation.
Besides, the other major attractions of the event are the diverse entrepreneurial stalls installed by local youths and a photo exhibition by the Arunachal Photography Club.
